Shadow beings

There have been reports of shadow people through out history. Usually a person will report seeing a shape like a human shadow moving around on its own and quite often people will report seeing a figure like a dark human shape sometimes even wearing a hat and on rare occasions people will see them with fiery red eyes.

Just what they are has been the subject of much debate. Some people believe they are the spirit of a once living person while other people think they are some form of alien being or creatures from another dimension. There have been reports that often the shadow people will act in strange or unusual ways. People will see them setting and watching them. Often they will appear to come up out of the floor of a house or out through a wall.

The first reports of shadow beings in written history was from Roman soldiers stationed in England around 43 Ad. Reports sent to Rome told of strange black beings like human shadows that were seen to move about and appear to go through walls and trees. Some were even reported with fiery red eyes. Rome sent word to the soldiers in England to capture some of the beings and send them to Rome but none were ever captured.

And there are some parts of the United States where the strange beings are seen in large numbers. For some reason Florida, North Carolina, and Kentucky seem to be hot beds of activity. And they have been for hundreds of years.

In the 1590's a British Colony was established at present-day Roanoke Island and before the ship that brought the colonists left for England shadow beings were seen in huge numbers in and around the colony that was being established there. The men who returned to England told of seeing beings that looked like human shadows come up out of the sand and even jump into the ocean waters and vanish. Because of the British and Spanish War it was three years before a ship returned to the colony. When they did the colonists were gone. Even the fort and buildings had been dismantled and the wood was stacked neatly near by. It became one of histories greatest mysteries. And to this day no one knows what happened to the colonists.

From the earliest days of St Augustine Florida there have been reports of sightings of shadow people especially in and around the area where the old Spanish Fort now stands. And these reports date back to the earliest days of the St Augustine settlement. Native Americans in the area claimed that the beings were spirits of people who had died and that they had unfinished business left to do in this life is why they were still there.

It is interesting to note that over the years many people have made claims of seeing the strange beings in and around the old Spanish Fort. Claims have been made that the shadow like creatures are seen often in the interior courtyard of the old fort. People on tours inside the interior of the fort see the beings and often report them to the National Park Rangers now running the fort. A lot of people have told of being inside the old fort and seeing a shadow person with red fiery eyes staring at them from out of the corner of a dark room.

No one has ever been able to prove exactly what shadow people are though most paranormal investigators go with the theory that they are what remains of a now deceased human being. But no one can say why the reports of people seeing them seems to be increasing in numbers. Photos have been made of the beings though communication with them seems impossible. They appear to observe the humans around them and this is one of the reasons that some people have made the claim that they must be some form of aliens from another world.

What ever they are I have seen them for many years and I have observed them doing all kinds of things. I have seen them watching me and I have seen them walk straight through walls. And appear to come straight up out of the floors of houses. I myself believe that they are the spirits of people who were once living breathing human beings. I think they are a so far unexplained form of paranormal activity. And if you ever see one you'll never forget it.
