Strange Behemoth called 'ATAKA'

The image shown below is undoubtedly one of the greatest in the annals of cryptozoology. About 50 years ago, this huge creature found washed up on a beach Ataka, Egypt in 1950, resembles a whale with two enormous tusks, intrigued to many experts, naturalists, scientists and cryptozoologists.His story begins in January 1950, after a terrible storm has ravaged the Gulf of Suez for about 3 days. The day after the hurricane, the authorities of the place discover a huge carcass, decomposing, the storm pushed on shore. A team of experts was immediately seconded to go to identify the strange animal.

Although similar in all respects to a whale, the most intriguing aspect of this discovery is probably two huge tusks located on each side of its mouth wide. The animal also appeared to have a vent that opens at the top of the skull by a single port, like most other members of the family of cetaceans. These observations have led many scientists to believe that this animal is a whale species still unknown. According to some statements, witnesses reportedly saw a strange whale swimming in the Gulf ten days before the storm has rejected the strange carcass on the shore.

Some say, the creature is nothing but a whale was killed during an accident and therefore lower jaw bones would have ended up to the mouth, if that would have created the illusion of a creature with one pair of defenses. It seems a bit pretentious, however, that these experts have been able to reach this conclusion by looking at a picture in black and white, while Egyptian scientists who examined the remains have not been able to identify the animal . Moreover, the case was classified as "unidentified".

A similar specimen was found lying on the beach Mentigi, 80 km south of Tanjung Pandan, Indonesia. The animal, found May 20, 2000, had a pair of the same defense and the similarities Ataka carcass. The animal was 6 meters long, weighed three tons and measured 2.70 meters defenses. The case is now known as the "monster Mentigi" and despite all my research, no photograph seems to currently available on the internet.
